Hi Larry, Thank you so much, this really means a lot! Getting featured on Distro of the Week is a huge honor, and reading such an honest, professional review makes all the work that goes into Soplos feel worth it. Really grateful for the write-up and for taking the time to give Tyron a proper test-drive. Thanks again!

Hi there, and welcome! Great to have someone with 25+ years of Linux/Unix experience trying Soplos — that kind of feedback means a lot. Really glad to hear it's flying on your old laptop! That snappiness on modest hardware is exactly what we're aiming for — keeping things lean and avoiding bloat is a core priority for us. Thanks so much for the kind words and for giving Soplos a shot. Enjoy, and don't hesitate to drop by if you ever run into anything or have suggestions!
